Lucid DAM is a central library for every brand asset—images, video, docs, and design files. Upload once, apply metadata and permissions, then find and publish anywhere with fast search, automated workflows, and audit-ready activity trails.
Every plan includes secure storage, smart search, version history, role-based access, review/approval workflows, and share links with expiry—everything you need to keep content organized and on brand.
You'll also get out-of-the-box integrations (Adobe CC, Google Drive, Slack, more), analytics dashboards, and API/webhooks for custom flows. Support, onboarding guides, and best-practice templates are included.
Admins can configure organization name and branding, storage region, default metadata fields, and retention policies. Security features include SSO/OAuth, MFA, IP allowlists, and detailed audit logs.
User management supports teams, groups, and granular permissions for libraries, folders, and actions. Set notification preferences, language/locale, and time zone for each workspace.
The interface supports popular languages and regional formats (e.g., English, Spanish, French, German) with localized dates, numbers, and right-to-left awareness where applicable. You can switch your preferred language from Profile → Preferences.
Assets themselves are language-agnostic. Metadata fields, tags, and descriptions accept Unicode, and AI tagging/ search can index multi-language content for accurate discovery.
Generate an API token (Settings → Developer) and use the sandbox environment to create libraries, upload sample assets, and attach metadata.
Trigger webhooks for events like upload, approval, and publish; verify payloads in your staging app before going live.
Use test helpers to bulk import, update permissions, and purge fixtures—then review logs/metrics to validate performance and rate limits.
Create your account with a work email or sign in with Google/SSO.
Verify your email, set a strong password, and enable two-factor authentication.
Complete your organization profile, choose a storage region, and invite teammates.
Manage seats, roles, plan, and billing anytime from Admin → Billing & Users.
Go to Profile → Settings to update your name, photo, job title, and contact details. Choose a default library, time zone, and notification preferences for comments, approvals, and shares. Security controls let you change your password, enable MFA, view active sessions, and generate API tokens. Admins can assign roles, set retention rules, and define default metadata for new assets.
From Profile → Preferences, switch the interface language and locale for dates, numbers, and regional formats. Set your personal time zone and week start, or inherit the organization default. Organization owners can also choose the primary storage region and CDN edge options to keep content close to your teams and meet data-residency needs.
If you can’t sign in, use Forgot password, confirm your email is verified, and check that MFA codes are valid and time-synced. For SSO errors, confirm you’re using your company domain and that your IdP assignment includes Lucid DAM. Clearing cached credentials or trying a private window often resolves browser conflicts; you can also check our status page for incidents.
Still stuck? Contact support with your email, workspace URL, timestamps, and a short description of the steps you took. Attach screenshots or a HAR file if possible so we can reproduce quickly. Most account-related issues are resolved within one business day.
Open Profile → Accessibility to enable keyboard-only navigation, screen-reader labels, and reduced motion. You can increase interface font size, use high-contrast mode, and set preferred focus outlines for better visibility during reviews and approvals.
Editors can add alt text to assets, captions for video, and language hints for documents to improve downstream accessibility. Lucid DAM follows WCAG 2.1 AA guidance and we’re continually improving based on user feedback.
Pricing is based on seats, storage, and optional add-ons (e.g., advanced analytics or extra regions). Choose monthly or discounted annual billing—see current tiers and compare features on our Pricing page or contact Sales for a custom quote.
Lucid DAM activates accounts by email (no license key needed). Check your inbox/spam for the welcome/activation message and click the link to finish setup.
If you purchased an add-on or plugin that uses a key, find it under Admin → Billing → Purchases and resend the receipt from there, or contact Support with your order ID.
Yes—annual billing includes a built-in discount compared to month-to-month, plus simplified invoicing.
We also have special pricing for larger teams, startups, education, and nonprofits. Reach out to Sales to see what you qualify for.
We protect your content with encryption in transit and at rest, role-based access controls, SSO/MFA support, and detailed audit logs. You can choose storage regions to meet data-residency needs.
Backups and redundancy help ensure availability, and admin policies (retention, approvals, link expiry) reduce risk while keeping teams productive.
Start a request from Admin → Billing → Invoices or contact Support with your workspace URL and order ID.
Tell us what happened (duplicate charge, plan change, accidental renewal, etc.) so we can review quickly.
We'll confirm eligibility under our Billing & Refund Policy and reply with next steps—typically within a few business days.
Open Help → Support Tools → Download logs to export client and network events for your current session. Include the date/time, your workspace URL, and a short description of what you were doing when the error appeared.
For browser issues, capture the Console and Network tabs (HAR file) and attach them to your ticket. Desktop uploader and plugins store logs under ~/Library/Logs/LucidDAM (macOS) or %AppData%\LucidDAM\Logs (Windows).
Ask the folder owner/admin to revoke the old share link.
They can generate a new link with a new password or switch to SSO-only access.
For security, passwords cannot be recovered—only reset with a new share.
Password protection secures the shared link, not the underlying files. Once someone downloads an asset, the password no longer applies to that copy, and recipients may still forward files outside your team.
To protect sensitive content, prefer SSO + role-based permissions, expiring links, watermarking, and download restrictions. For stricter controls, use approval-only access or request access per user.
Use Admin → Import to connect sources like Dropbox, Google Drive, Box, or S3. The import wizard maps folders to libraries/collections and preserves structure while pulling IPTC/XMP/EXIF metadata where available.
You can bulk-tag during import, auto-generate thumbnails, and convert formats on the fly. Progress is visible in the activity feed, and any conflicts or duplicates are flagged for review.
Lucid DAM workspaces activate by email, not by license keys. Check your inbox (and spam) for the welcome/activation message, or request a new invite from your admin.
If you purchased a paid add-on/plugin that uses a key, go to Admin → Billing → Purchases to view and resend it. Can’t find it? Share your workspace URL and order ID with Support and we’ll reissue the details.
